Senior Account Manager
We’re on the lookout for a digital marketing Senior Account Manager with a brilliantly creative personality, a wonderful team spirit and a switched-on marketing brain.
A little bit about us
We’re a digital marketing agency helping B2B and B2C companies across the UK and beyond with every aspect of their marketing. From electronics manufacturers, cyber security experts and software providers to global food suppliers and luxury home developers, we’ve done it all.
Our team of in-house designers, copywriters, web developers and account handlers pool their marketing talents together to deliver a little bit of everything through one team. We support small and large organisations, developing their digital marketing strategy through to execution — and we’re all seriously good at what we do.
The role
As a Senior Account Manager at Hyped, you’ll oversee client marketing packages, whilst building close relationships with clients and securing new annual campaigns and larger ad hoc projects.
Your role will be split between remote working and being in the office as required. We have two office locations — one in Farnborough, Hampshire and one in Farnham, Surrey.
What you’ll be doing
- Understanding a client’s business goals and helping them get there
- Winning new clients/increasing current client billing to support the team’s annual growth target (to be defined in personal annual goals)
- Taking the lead on and preparing annual marketing plans for each client and larger project proposals as required with support from account managers and executives
- Owning and strengthening (not just managing and maintaining) client relationships
- Regularly proposing new approaches and activity across the portfolio of clients, thereby demonstrating improvement against KPIs and successfully securing additional budget to support proposed activity
- Leveraging resource available to fulfil client needs
- Financial reporting to the team budget holder on a monthly basis
- Solving problems as they arise, often before the client even realises they’ve occurred
- Demonstrating creative thinking to suit client’s needs, with the aim of adding fresh thinking and a new perspective to avoid repetitive monthly deliverables
- Applying data-driven decision-making to draw insights when analysing and presenting results
- Sharing best practices within the agency via workshops to upskill and add value to the rest of the business
You’ll be a great fit if you…
- Have over three years of experience at an agency or similar client-side role
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Are motivated, proactive and someone who makes things happen
- Have the drive to progress and take ownership of a range of clients within a fast-paced, digital agency
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Have strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- Can multitask well
- Have a fine eye for detail
- Have a track record of successful delivery and client relationships
- Are proficient in all Microsoft platforms: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Now let’s hear about the perks…
- Hybrid working
- Flexible hours
- 21 days’ holiday plus bank holidays — increasing to 23 days after 2 years of service and 25 days after 5 years of service
- Office closure for Christmas (you won’t need to use your holiday allowance for this)
- Birthday off
- Wellness contribution (for gym membership etc.) of up to £750 per year
- Flu jab each year, funded by the company

- Annual Christmas bonus scheme
- Long-service perks after 5 and 10 years
